Kirby Sales I&L Enterprise
Iso & Linda Harry Manipulators, Liars, Very Deceptive

Let me first say that the Kirby is a good vacuum, but the business practice of their salespeople is ridiculous and very manipulative.

This is for all those who are lookig for jobs, do not respond to the ad if it states $800/ bi-weekly chance to make up to $1600/month. The first lie in the ad is that they say that they say that they are a cleaning company. THAT IS COMPLETELY FALSE! They then come out and do the entire orientation spill, after you call for an interview. They come out and tell us that we are actually a Kirby sales company, and that we are actually sales reps. Everyone in my group was fine with that b/c they told us that our appointments are set for us. We dont make any calls, we just go out to the appointments and try to sell the Kirby. No need about worrying to make a sell, but as long as you did the demo u were alright, and would be paid the base pay of $800.00 plus commission. We then asked how is the pay distributed. He told us that your $800=30 demos. We then asked what if we dont make the 30 demos (15 demos every 2 weeks, like say if someone only did 20 or 25 demos), instead of telling us that it would be strictly commission if this was to happen, he tells us that we would receive something, just not the base pay. So in our minds, we are thinking ok we wont get the full $800, but that we will get something. But the requirements to get the appointments that they set for us were that we had to do 8 PRACTICE demos (which is a lie, and you have to try to make your practice demos buy the kirby, and the 8 practice demos are set by I&L Enterprise not by Kirby themselves) before we would get the rest of the appointments.

Now after you did your 8 practices you would be given your other 7, but they didnt provide gas money for you and if they didnt have the appointments you could go out on your own, but you would have to buy the door gifts yourself (which we were never told about in the beginning) and provide your own gas money. So many of us would get on the van crew. (And we would then go knocking door-to-door, and they would give us a guaranteed script that would get us in every door.) We would then be driven to subdivisions where the people most likely couldnt afford a $2000 vacuum or the people were at work, so for us our work day started at 10am and ended at 7:30pm, but our boss would want us to continue well into 8pm, one time we didnt get home until 10pm that night.

And when it comes to pay they will try every trick in the book not to pay you. After you trick the person into buying the Kirby, your told that you have made a sale, but on the contract it tells the customer that they have 3 days to cancel, so for us the requirement changed from 30 demos/$800 (which we knew nobody could do) to 10 demos 3 sales=$400 every week; but if the customer cancelled, that then cancelled your sale, and it takes 3 days for your sale to be approved. To make a long story short, No one really fulfilled the requirements, but you would get paid on your commission which would equal out to say no more than $200, and if someone went on a demo with you and bought a Kirby, you then ended up having to split the commission with them.

And the male boss messes up sales for people. He went in on my demo and I was talking to the wife who makes all the decisions when it comes to cleaning and stuff like that. Im upstairs talking to her, and my boss is downstairs and starts arguing with the husband. The husband gets mad, and kicks us out of the home and cancels the sale. He (Mr. Iso or Mr. Harry as he is called) doesn't know whow to speak to customers and then they run around and get mad at you if you dont pressure the people into making the sale. Alot of people will tell you that they ARE NOT going to buy the Kirby, but will let you in b/c you are doing a free carpet cleaning for them.

They have such a high-turn over rate, and the only people that profit are the owners and their children. Their son is the office manager, so its all family run and they will lie to anybody and everybody. Also they dont pay in check form. What they will do is write you out a check, then tell you to write the check back over to them, then they will pay you in cash. They are liars and manipulators.

Please if you should answer this ad that says Cleaning Company looking for strong workers with $800 pay/bi-weekly and you show up at a run-down office building for your interview in Decatur, GA and it says I&L Enterprise... Run as fast as you can!
