If you use Jennifer Buffington and Specialty Marketing you will regret it for the rest of your life.in the beginning, she told me "I am assembling the best locators I have to do your job". To set the scene I have 1000 machines and my wife (girlfriend at the time) has another 115. So here's what I get, her dad, her husband, and some other guy. They drive down from SC in all three in ONE pickup. Her husband and the other guy are sent to assemble and set machines in locations obtained. Her husband has never or any of them have never even seen a Vendstar Machine. Her won't rent a car to look for locations because it cost too much. They have to barrow money from me to get an apartment to stay in. That's impressive come a 1000 miles with no money to locate 1115 machines out of ONE PICKUP. So her dad Sid Putman puts an add in the local paper and here's my professional locating team. A mortgage broker (never located machines before), a guy who has done locating along with any thing else he can do to make a dollar, a 19 yr old girl who's never had a full time job and never even heard of locating, her friend that had never located and didn't have job, that gave him fake locations, that I paid for, some lady that gave him 17 Holiday video stores that he paid her for, with my money, she split and the locations were bogus. There were others that I never met. Of all the people he hired only three had actually located before. One of them wasn't brought in until her dad was going to have to leave for several days so he could go to his high school reunion. That's definitely more important than a job costing me $55,000.00 plus.
Of course I end up firing Specialty Marketing after about 60% of the job was completed. Now remember this she's already got a $20,000.00 deposit for all machines and I paid for all locations acquired at this point, and assembly of all machines. Plus after they had delivered aprox. 200 machines her dad calls and says they can't assemble and deliver they machines for the extra $10.00 per machines that Jennifer and I agreed upon. So in order for them not to leave I have to pay them another $5.00 per machine. At this piont Sid is using my minivan and making me pay for the gas and toll charges or he's going to quit. He's also making me reimburse him for pens, pencils, highlighters, and paper that he's buying. I know it sounds like I'm probably rambling, but every bit of this is documented. I even have the reciepts and hand written and signed invoices showinn were they went from charging me $10.00 to $15.00 and all other misc reciepts. You all know of the warranty she offers. Let me give you an example of how she stands behind her word. After her dad say's they can't do the "white glove service" for the $10.00 Jennifer Buffington said they would do it for, I called Joe "salesman" at vendstar and tell him, he calls Jennifer, Jennifer calls screaming at me. We get in an argument over the phone, these are her words verbatem, " the $10.00 egrrement for the white glove service was verbal, you can't prove it in court". I'll take a poly test if this isn't true as well as everything in this article. This is just a taste guys. This little endever (SP) "aprox $250,000.00 including my" with Jennifer Buffington and Multivend, which recommends them "exclusively" has put me in such financial trouble I don't know if I will ever recover without the help of the courts. Please don't let this happen to you
