Chiampi Electrical services was hired to perform electrical work for time and materials used, this dishonest electrician started to charge for materials not used on the job also marking up the materials used anywhere between 50 to 100% markup. After confronting this scumbag he started requesting money up front for work to be completed, I stated to pick up his tools and alcohol and leave, this scumbag was reported to the Mass license board where nothing was done. I guess when your a scumbag contractor in mass the law favors this type of behavior. I took this scumbag to small claims court and was a no show I was awarded $2000.00 maximum allowable.
Just before the end of the 30 days his low life attorney filed an appeal. We battled in small claims court I was awarded $746.00 as an out come. The clerk magistrate was useless and balless! Never hire for time and materials unless you have it in writting what will be charged in materials cost.
