On aprox. 6/13/07 after finding what I believed to be the best motorcycle half helmet on the market, I sent a postal money order for $154.95 to NexL Sports for a flat black NXT half helmet. (this is alot of money for a half helmet, but they're suppossed to be the best, right?)
On aprox. 6/19/07 I recieved a conformation email from a "Gabby" stating that they had recieved my order/money, they have a 4 week backlog and giving me my order number. Also included was a link to a spot on thier website where I could supposedly check on the progress/status of my order and a note saying I could reply to this email with any questions.
The spot to check on my order progress does not exist...
I waited a little over a month and emailed "Gabby" to ask how my order was going and recieved no response. One week later, I emailed again. No response. Tried again, no response.
I went to the website and mailed from thier 'fill-out-the-form' thingy, no response. Tried again 1 week later. No response.
I called thier 1-800 number and left a message. (they NEVER answer the phone.) No response.
I called again, and left another message. No response.
So, I contacted the BBB, filed a complaint, waited the customary 1 month for NexL Sports to respond, and, they didn't respond to the BBB either...
So, here I am, mad as hell, and basically helpless.
Meantime, the NexL Sports website is up and running as pretty as can be, still taking orders, still humming right along...
And I'm the idiot, $155.00 dollars poorer, no half helmet to wear on my bike.
