I paid pre-paid legal to refer me to an attorney that would assist me with a D.W.I./criminal mischief case. The Ross & Matthews office contacted me and gave me Glendon B. Adams as an attorney I should use.
Mr. Adams initially consulted with me, then didn't appear in time for my first court appearance and I had to have a continuance. He did, however, receive my initial payment of more than 200 dollars.
Upon my second date Mr. Adams received more money, but was late for court and again received a continuance.
Upon not appearing for the third court date, Mr. Adams was fired by the judge and I received a court-appointed attorney that has done a MUCH better job.
Upon a friend's contacting someone within the legal field, I then found out "hes not even a criminal attorney, he does tax, appellate and bankruptcy work. Sounds like he was just looking to make a quick buck doing easy legal jobs and discovered it was more work than he wanted to do."
