I have just received my second bill from ISTA and once again, it has a $5.00 delinquency charge. ISTA NA has consistently sent bills every 60 days while their billing period is every 30 days. Every 60 days I am forced to call ISTA to explain that they have once again forgotten to send the previous month's invoice. These charges have thus far been waived but it requires 15-30 minutes of my time every time I get a bill from ISTA.
It is my opinion that ISTA is purposely failing to invoice on a timely basis hoping that people will simply pay the late fee. I want others similarly situated to know that this policy appears to be widespread. Please take the time to contact ISTA every time they fail to send an invoice. Please also take the time to complain via this website. Ista needs to know that it cannot continue to get away with shoddy accountancy.
