I was lured away from my phone and internet service by AT&T's promise of a $50 rebate and $60 VISA gift card.
I properly mailed in the appropriate forms to get my rebate and gift card. Five months later, nothing. I have called AT&T numerous times and been given the royal runaround.
I faxed a customer representative a copy of my original equipment rebate form as he instructed me to do. When I called back, they said they didn't receive it.
I mailed in another copy of my form for the gift card and imagine that, two weeks later they said they didn't receive that either.
I called back again to complain and this time they said they did receive my form for the rebate but it was too late. It was the copy I faxed two months prior and they received it eleven days after I sent it. Talk about incompetence! Maybe they will find the original form I mailed in six months ago eleven days from now. AT&T is a pitiful excuse of a company when it comes to customer service and receiving and processing rebate forms. Where I work people are held accountable and terminated for being incompetent. Not at AT&T. Maybe it's not incompetence, maybe it's a devised scam by AT&T, a rip-off by a bunch of crooks. Either way, I want justice!
