I recently went into walgreens to fill my monthly prescription of medicine that without i will go into shock and could possibly die. I preface this wuth stating my insurance and walgreens have record of me filling this particular medication at same time every month. The pharmacists had me wait and even once when i asked if it was ready that it was almost ready. They charged me for meds and i tured around to leave and five plice officers were waiting. They arrested me beause the pharmacy said i forged this script.
Later I found out they said i changed the date which was ridiculous because the doc had written an hour prior to this. So overnight in jail and police said they could not provide medical care for my disease or lack of medication for something i did not do was hell and then the doctor wrote the script for me the next day when i contacted him about this.
Walgreens does not care about human beings as ive seen more than one person say something like this has happend to them. I now have to hire a lawyer, go to trial facing a felony charge, may lose my job because of a blatant lie. There was no tampering done and they didnt ask me or my doctor. Its truly scary that they have no problems doing this. Please stay away from walgreens or you might lose everything.
