I found charges for "voicemail" on my AT&T bill from Meteline Tech with the Name ILD Communications included. Since I do not have voicemail I called the number provided to ask about this charge and was told that I could block any further charges at this number but needed to call another number to ask why the charge.
I called the number given and was told my son was the individual who signed for this feature. My son is an adult and does not live with me. He has no memory of signing up for anything and wondered if the charges could have been from his attempt to use my computer to talk voice to voice through a pc.
Even if this is the case—the charges were placed on my bill without my consent and it was not apparent to him that he was signing up for anything of this sort. I was assured there would be no further charges, but I want to be reimbursed which did not apprear to be an option.
