I was at the Bellflower Supercuts on Artesia and Bellflower Blvd. On 6/22/07 and discussing the cost of a haircut with the haircutter as the price was higher than it used to be. And then she tells me that their credit card machine was broken. I told her that it might have been a good idea to have informed the customers of that before getting a haircut. She started arguing with me, as did her coworker. Their friends that were sitting in the seats watching and listening started making comments and butting into our discussion, so I turned to look at them. One of them asked why I was looking at her, so I told her because they were being rude and butting in and to be quiet and mind their own business. So one of them gets up, walks towards me, and starts cussing and yelling at me in my face and she pushed me. It became a brawl, and her friend stepped in to throw in some kicks/blows, my friend tried to pull me out of it, which only gave them better access to assault, so let me go. The associate, maybe two, joined into the attack, as I did my best at self defense in this assault. I called 911 from my cell once it was split up. They said if I do, they will team up against me and say that I started it, and that I hit her first. I said, go for it, and that I am going all the way and am going to hold those apparent friends of the associates and Supercuts responsible for my injuries. So I was sent a Paramedic, and went off to the hospital, and they found a strained neck and head injuries. With my already open workers comp neck/spinal injury case open, this may get complicated. This is going to court with an attorney, to their corporate headquarters, as the hospital bill alone that they said I owe is $800.00, which may not be all of it, and I dont think includes the paramedic bill. But I will try to let a judge decide who is responsible for this bill, and I think I should get that $15.00 back too. I have a witness, photos of my injuries, and will have a medical report.
