Rose Banquet Hall
Provided Horrible food and service very unproffessional ruined a very special day ripoff

We reserved the banquet hall for my sister's 15th birthday party on June 8th. The original contract was for 100 guests but when the final payment was due we paid additional $634 for 13 additional guests. When we arrived exactly an hour before the start of party (as directed by the owner) we realized that rather than adding an additional table they had simply added more chairs to the tables, Resulting in 9 tables for 113 people.

This caused a lot of confusion as the seating arrangements had logically been made for 10 tables, guest were left standing and waiters had to bring additional chairs to accommodate. We also paid an additional $100 for a security guard, who as explained by the owner was legally required for all of their events; but on the night of the party rather then secure the doors and ensure that none of the minors were outside the security guard (in uniform) proceeded to distribute the food and cake.

In addition once the food was served the waiters proceeded to remove the plates very quickly; some plates were removed before the guest had completed their meals. When we went to complain the owner Osvaldo Gonzalez was very dismissive of all of our complaints, rather than expressing concern or trying to come to an agreement he dismissed everything by saying that we were wrong.

The quality of the food was poor and very small; it looked as they had taken full servings and cut them in half to save on cost.

I also caught underage guest with alcoholic drinks that they admitted to getting themselves from the bartender, I personally told the bartender several times that he needed to ID before giving our alcoholic beverages, I had him that this was a childs party and as such there were several underage guest. One of guest even complained that he had to wait while the bartender to served himself a drink to be served.
