My family had planned a beautiful sweet fifteen for my sister. My mom decided to hire a party coordinator in order to celebrate her daughter's fifteen birthday party. On the meetings we had with her 3 months prior to the party, she made promises to do things that were not done at our party, for example my sister and i spent a whole night choosing and organizing pictures for a slide show that was not presented at the party. The slide show was a part of the package that we paid for, apart from that the food that was served and the way it was served was not what we had agreed. The day of the party the place looked beautiful everything started out great, when the food was ready to be served we noticed there were only 3 of the 7 waiters that were promised. The food was cold and the salad had no dressing, and not all of the 165 guest we had agreed upon were served with food. One of our guest had poured himself a rum and coke and left it at his table while he was dancing, and one of the waiters came and poured old champagne inside his cup when his sister told the waiter it was her brothers drink and the waiter simply replied by saying he could prepare another drink. As the night went on things just kept getting worst. The clubhouse we rented was originally set from 6 to 12, we asked her if it was possible that we could stay till 2, she told us to pay extra 500 dollars for the rental, we also agreed to give her the money in cash or check, but she took the liberty to use my mom's debit card number to collect the money, a transaction that was not authorized by my mom, We also paid the DJ extra
650 to stay till 2, the DJ company was gracious enough to return our money when we was notified that we had leave at 12 o'clockwhen the owners of the clubhouse came and kicked us out of the venue around 11:30 when the owners came and said that we would had half and hour left, lucy got nervous and told my mom to not told them that she said we could stay till 2. She lied to the clubhouse owners and to us, after they came to kick us out she disappeared. She allegedly was rude to our guests and pushed my 16 year old cousin. The owners of the clubhouse were rude as well, and it was said that since we were a hispanic family their was discrimination in the things they said and did.in the way we were kicked out there were things that we lost and could not recovered. The owners of the clubhouse called had the cops called so they could come kick us out when no one was being rude or harassing them. This was my sisters dream party, and this company ruined it for her, seeing as the party was stop by cops and the embarrassment she felt with all of her schoolmates. It is not about the materialistic value is a fifteen year old who planned this party for months and all she did was work for her party to have it ruined in the way it was. She had prepared a dance to do in front of her guests that she did not get to do all her months of practice were a useless effort.
