I recently purchased several Alexis Vogel products from this company. I spent nearly $90 and two hours after my purchase, I received an email with a 10% off coupon good for that day and the following few days. I promptly emailed the company requesting a credit of 10% for my purchases made only 2 hours earlier.
I was denied with a "maybe next time" reply. I received free shipping for spending so much and would have also qualified for free shipping even with the 10% off coupon. Consequently, the company failed to understand how returning my entire order, then re-ordering it with the 10% off coupon (again, with free shipping), would only result in a monetary loss for them as they would have to pay two shipping charges as well as all of the transactions costs associated with issuing a return and processing a new order.
It simply makes no sense. Not only is it economically stupid, it is horrible customer service as I have been a faithful customer for a long time.
I asked for a reconsideration but never heard back. I will never do business with this company again and will warn anyone who considers buying from them. I would never recommend purchasing from them. There are other options on the internet for getting these products.
