In November I agreed to do a signing for Sox at a rate of $150 and then there was a follow up call to the borrower which we agreed on $100. It is now May and I have tried every tactic I could think of. The Company clearly stated that you should mail or fax in your invoice at the end of the month for the work performed during the month. I did that numerous times, I sent a certified letter with an invoice. I contacted the BBB who assigned it to their field office in the vicinity of their Corporate office. They made contact and Sox agreed to pay if I were to invoice on the internet. However no money yet. They say on their web site that if the invoice is over 90 days old thay won't pay. Notaries are expected to be impecable, Sox is clearly unprincipled and dishonest with intent. The BBB advised me that there were many Notaries who had the same complaint.
