They do not pay! Globaldox is a Signing Service for various Mortgage Lenders. They contact Notary Agents in all parts of the country to close loans for lenders. They negotiate a price with the Notary. The Notary confirms the appointment with the borrower, receives the borrower's loan docs from the lender, meets with the borrower in their home, has them sign all docs and notarizes various documents, then overnites the package to the signing company in order for the loan to close.
After closing, the Signing Service receives their check. The Signing Service is then supposed to pay the Notary. Globaldox assigned me two signings - One in June and another in July for an agreed amount of money. Services were performed. They have not paid for my services. They ignore all phone calls, Fax requests, etc.
I am not the only Notary they have done this to. Something has to be done - we Notaries end up having no recourse and the Signing Service just keeps calling other Notaries to do their work, but they don't pay them.
