On 1/16/06 I bought a Sony Hi Def TV from Circuit City. At that time I bought the extended warranty and was assured by the salesman that if repairs were needed to just call the store. Sure enough the set needed repairs at a later date. I called the store and was told that they don't do repairs here, I needed to call an 800 number, which I did. It took 44 phone calls to get the set repaired. Among these phone calls were several to the local store manager. Some of his answers were directed at the sales force and he threatened to slap them up side the head. He also told me to call repair service back and tell them that they didn't know what they were talking about. When the set was finally repaired it had been in need of several repairs for 58 days out of the 68 days that occurred since the first problem.
