I purchased a puppy from K-9 kare Korner. He had a runny nose so the owner gave me antibiotics for him. After 3 days, he was sick and taken to an animal hospital. Although he was very sick, they couldn't give me a diagnosis without running a battery of tests.
Two days later, he was sick again. I took him to my vet. He was coughing, throwing up mucus and white foam and he wouldn't eat, drink & he slept all the time. My vet said he was given his shots too early and the antibiotic the pet shop gave me was for dogs 5 lbs & over. My puppy was 2 lbs. This tore up his stomach.
He spent the night at the vet. Three days later he was sick again with the same symptoms. This time he was at my vet for 4 days. He was diagnosed with parvo virus/gastroenteritus and pnuemonia. I was given an "unfit for purchase" certificate.
I spent $1100.00 in 14 days for this puppy. The owner refuses to give me any money or honor her warranty. First she accused me of taking the puppy to the animal hospital when he was "probably just tired". Than she said "for all I know you fed him a Taco". The last time I talked to her, she accused me of having my vet falsify the certificate so I can get money out of her.
This woman is insane. She doesn't listen when you talk to her. She is always right. She is obnoxious and overbearing and she also thinks she is a vet. She is a groomer and she should stay a groomer. This woman should not be allowed to sell puppies. She keeps several different puppies in larges wooden boxes with wood shavings that the puppies urinate and defecate in and then they are all playing and standing or sleeping in the puppy waste.
She should stick to grooming the puppies, not selling or even taking care of them.
