Just Puppies, INC in Casselberry, FL is selling sick puppies. There is a strain of a highly-resistant respiratory illness infecting their puppies.
I purchased a puppy from Just Puppies, INC in Casselberry in October. When I got the puppy home, I noticed that the puppy was coughing up phlem, so the next day I took the puppy to "their" vet who admitted that there was a respiratory "virus" going around their petstore, affecting their puppies, but the Just Puppies, INC "approved vet" did nothing to treat our puppy.
About a week later, when our puppy was still coughing up phlem, we took the puppy to our vet who said that they had treated 5 different puppies, in the past 3 months, from Just Puppies, INC, who had contracted pneumonia from the Just Puppies, INC petstore. It is now almost 8 weeks since we have brought this puppy home and we are STILL treating her for this respiratory infection. Our vet orginally called it kennel cough, but is now saying, after x-rays, that it has developed into bronchitis, even though she has been on antibiotics for the past 7 weeks. Needless to say, we have incurred quite a large vet bill.
I have had to learn this lesson the hard way—NEVER buy a puppy from a petstore!!!
Just Puppies, INC is getting their puppies from puppy mills. Not only are those puppies highly inbred, leaving them suceptable to numerous congential defects, but they are exposed to a large variety of illnesses. Then the petstores keep those puppies together in a room with other puppies from puppy mills and the diseases spread. Respiratory illnesses are airborne spread.
Just puppies&you are selling sick puppies!!!
No matter what you come up with as an excuse to try to cover yourself and no matter how many times you name call your buyers&YOU, JUST PUPPIES, know that the puppies in your store are sick. There are plenty of documented veterinary cases of illness and death from the puppies purchased at your store.
BUYERS&PLEASE BEWARE!!! Just Puppies, INC is playing on the heartstrings of innocent and kind-hearted people who buy their puppies on an impluse buy, as I admit that I did. When you find out that your puppy is sick&good luck in getting Just Puppies, INC to help you out with the vet bills. Just hope that the puppy doesn't have any fatal disease.
