LaTasha Williams was hired and in the process of being trained for a position at our store in New Ellenton. Ms. Williams called us on a Saturday morning, a few weeks ago and stated that the job was not for her. At that time she had not submitted her timesheet for the hours worked. She stated that she would stop by the office to return the office key. On Friday, February 23, we received a letter from her dated February 20, in the mail, giving the hours she had worked and the office key enclosed. She stated in this letter that she would like her check sent to the address written in the letter.
When Ms. Williams was hired, we explained to her that she would have to work two weeks before being paid, and her first pay check would only be for one week and that pay days was on Mondays.
The week of February 27, we received over twenty five phone calls from her, stating that if we did not pay her then, she would contact the news media and made other demands and threatening remarks regarding the business and its reputation. She also stated on numerous occassions that her father would pick up her check.
Ms. Williams was told that she would be paid on Friday, March 2 as a courtesy, because I would be out of town on Monday. She would be given a call to let her know the time that she could pick up her money.in that I had to return to the office before finishing bank tranactions, Ms. Williams came to the office demanding payment. After I cleared issues at the office with Ms. Willaims, and had gotten to the bank, it was closed. I returned to the office and explained to Ms. Williams that the banks were closed and she agreed to pick up her check on Monday, March 5, the designated payday. After she left the office we received a threatening phone call from her father, and I explained the same thing to him.
On Monday afternoon, she still had not picked up her check. She had left several messages earlier that day on the office phone and my wife returned those calls, received no answer twice, but left her a message that she could pick up her money. On Tuesday morning she returned my wife's phone call and stated that she would wanted us to mail her a check, and my wife told her no and that she would have to come to the office to pick up her money. Ms. Williams stated that she would be in the office around 11:00 A.M. A little after 2:00 pm. She arrived and her money was given to her.

Other than that, Ms. Williams has simply lied in the statements she has made.
