I purchased some pool filters online on 10/02/06 from tubmonkey.com. This online store only accepts money through PayPal. I sent the money, but did not hear from tubmonnkey for a week, so I placed a PayPal dispute on the $233.73 money transfer.
On 10/11, Michael McGlothlin sent me an email explaining that there was some sort of problem with PayPal, and he said that if I released the funds on PayPal, he would ship the product immediately. I went to PayPal, closed my dispute, and Sent an email to Michael McGlothlin. I have since sent many emails, but have not heard back from tubmonkey.com.
I talked with customer service at PayPal, and they said that by closing my dispute I had finalized the transaction and there is nothing they can do to help me recover my funds.
