On February 24, I purchased two Motorola V3c phones, which came with $350.00 in mail in rebates. $130 and $70.00 for one phone and $90.00 and $60.00 for the other phone. I meticulously and painstakingly filled out the rebate forms according to the ridiculous terms and mailed them in. The first set was mailed in within 120 days as required and I received confirmation emails on 22 June 06 confirming the receipt of my rebates and informing me my rebates are processing. Months later, I still have not received my check and the status of my rebates has not changed. I contacted customer service and I was informed that there was a problem with the system and all information had to be reprocessed and to allow 8 to 10 weeks for processing. The time comes and I submit the second set of rebates. Once again no response from cellphonerebates.com. Once again I call customer service and after many disconnects and long, long wait times I finally talk to a real person and I am informed that there is no record of my rebates. At this time I also find out the processing center has changed. Of course, I have already mailed all rebates to the Phoenix address but I am told that they will be forwarded to the new location. Many more days go by and still nothing so I send an email to customer service on Dec 22 inquiring about my rebates. I received a reply on 28 Dec stating that my rebates were denied because they were postmarked to late but as a valued customer, the rebates will be honored as a one-time courtesy. Allow 5-10 business days for processing. About three weeks later and still no check, I received a letter in the mail stating that my rebates were denied because they were postmarked to late. As many complaints that I have seen about Cellphonerebates.com, it absolutely amazes me that they are still in business. Cellphonerebates.com is clearly running a fraud and trying to take advantage of people.
