Madison's WHo's Who
I was "nominated" and paid thru the nose

On 12-12 i was contacted at work (i'm busy like all of us at work) and this smooth talking fella "Steve G." tells me i'm nominated to "join" this Madison's who's who. After only 1/2 a* listening... I have my head set on... I'm doing charts and foolishly NOT paying total attention... I agree to "join" this scam club... A website of professionals etc etc... For. Ulp... 300$ a year. Ok... Call me stupid... This guy was good... I can network... I can do ALL sorts of fun stuff... Plus. He'll give me 2 free airline tickets just cause i'm so special.

That was at 4pm. THE very next morning... Less than 24 hrs... I call him to CANCEL the membership... My husband rightfully so thought i'd lost my mind. I told Steve no way i cannot afford the 300$ fee... Cancel my credit card charge... Ohmy... Of course... Since i'm SO special... Just for me... Mind you, he'll drop the price to 58$ a year and NO free airline tickets. OK i say to get the guy off my back and off my phone. (NO toll free # for them). And of course he'll credit my card... Yah... Like it snows in hell.

I called EVERY SINGLE DAY from the 13th on... And oh my, i was reassured... Card will be credited. Was it??? NOOO. Long story short... I emailed them... No response... I called them... My Steve guy was conviently not in... The folks in financial services promised they would email me what i needed to cancel the old charge and did they??? No they did not.

SO i faxed everything back with written cancel the 300$ charge and RE SUBMIT the re negociated one at 58$... Did they? NOPE... So my credit card company filed on my behalf a dispute and that's where i'm at. Funny how fast they were to charge my card but not so fast on the follow thru.

THis company sucks and they are NOT even in Wisconsin. What a rip!!! Oh... in teeny tiny type... There is a 20% charge for any cancellation... Steve my good buddie neglected to mention that when he was smoozing. I have a big mouth and its flappin all over town about this rip off company. I should have known better... And now i do!!!
