Replied to email about how to make money on the internet. Received email about interviewing for 7 Generals and phone number to call if interested, which I called.
Received phone call from Steve Waters. After about hour or so, with reservations, gave him an AMX number. Next day received many emails with 17 items to complete. Became a little concerned when one of the items involved writting testimonials before I even know what the company was about. When I asked what products or services we were selling his answer was that it would be clear in a few days.
About week later Steve called to say that they did not accept AMX and he needed a different card. At this point I still thought it to be legitimate and gave him another card number.
Shortly after this received a request for additional money for a "Special Project". At this point I emailed him asking for proof that this was not a scam, otherwise I was going to cancel my credit card. Received nasty email back from [email protected]. Credit Card Company refused to cancel charge as "I had received information for my charge".
I hope this may save someone else from being taken.
