Outrageously horrible customer service ripoff

I highly recommend that if you are ever looking for an online photo service that you don't even attempt to use Winkflash.com

On 12/1 I ordered 50 photo cards for $17.48 from Winkflash. My order arrived as expected and I was happy with the results of the pictures. But a few days later I received an overdraft charge from my bank. I called my bank to have them go over my account, and it turns out that winkflash charged my debit card twice!

So first I sent an email to customer service. Then I decided to call customer service also. Busy signal for about 20 minutes. Finally it's ringing. I'm on hold for 17 minutes. When I finally got someone to talk to, I explained that b/c of their mistake I was charged $31 from my bank for overdrafting and I thought that needed to be taken care of as well as the $17.48. He told me that most banks will waive the fee and that if I fax over something from my bank showing that winkflash charged me twice that within a day or two they will reimburse me.

So I faxed the info. Over on Monday morning. Tuesday I went into my bank to see if they had credited my account. No. I also asked about waiving the overdraft fee. They told me that would have to come from winkflash. So I sent another email to their so called customer service. No response by Tues. Afternoon, so I called again.

Busy signal for 30 min. Then I was on hold for 28 minutes! When they answered it was the same guy I talked to before. I told him I wanted to speak with a manager. He asked me to explain the situation to him first. I explained, and also told them that my bank was not going to waive the fee b/c it wasn't their mistake and I felt that I should be reimbursed for that also. Then he put me on hold and said the manager was away from their desk, but that somebody will be in contact with me ASAP.

Wednesday afternoon comes around and no answer from them. I tried calling again. Busy signal for 2 hrs. Straight!!! Wed. Evening they sent me a "generic" response that said they are very busy with the holiday season, but that someone will be contacting me soon.? At this point I have a feeling I will never see even the $17.48, but I'm going to keep trying.

I should have used snapfish or shutterfly as I have before. The only reason I tried winkflash is because in my Parenting magazine was a coupon for 40% off. That must be their way of luring in a good scam.
