My husband and I bought a new 14" flat screen tv for his truck tonight. (Merry Christmas to him) Get home and plug it in, it doesn't work. Takes it back to the store, and guess what? They can't take it back because the serial numbers on the tv and the box don't match.
SO somewhere along the line, someone returned a messed up tv in a different box to Wal*Mart, and Wal*Mart took it back w/out looking at it and put it back on the shelf for US to buy. $80 down the drain, there is apparently NOTHING we can do about it!
The managers are looking at him like HE did this, the tv was bought at a Wal*Mart a year ago, but there is no return history of the serial number on the box. Something very fishy is going on here!
