I sent in for 2 rebates for items purchased at TigerDirect. All required materials were sent. OnRebate confirmed reciept of rebate materials and confirmed rebate requirements were met. Total rebates for both were $150. Payment would be recieved in 8 to 10 weeks. It has been about 16 weeks now since first rebate was confirmed by OnRebate.
I called OnRebate on 11/13/06 and was informed my first rebate for $50 would be immediately forwarded to the appropriate department and payment would be made in 7- 10 days. Ten days later, I again called OnRebate (because no payment had been made) and was told I could expect payment in TWO days. Three days later and I am filing this report with your company, consumer complaints.
On 11/14/06 I also filed a report with the Better Business Bureau in Florida. They sent a copy of the complaint to OnRebate who had until 11/29/06 to respond. They have not done so. The BBB has sent a followup letter as of today, 11/29/06.
