Price diffrence beteen 2 stores 3 miles apart. Ripoff

I bought a wireless router for 44.95 and found the same router in El Cajon store for 5.00 less (39.95).

I called the Grossmont Cnter store and they suggested that I take the part and get a refund at Grossmon store and then buy the part at the El Cajon (Parkway Plaza) and save the $5.00.

Wal-Mart (Customer Service i oth stores said that they do not price compare against thier stores, they just check the prices in the area and charge accordingly.

I also checked the manufactures webite and thier MSRP was 39.95 also.

I also thught tha the prices in a 'chain' store would be the same in a metropolitian area. I guess not so for Wal-Mart.
