I have mediacom phone, cable and internet service. My phone service is frequently out of order and reaching a human at the repair # on my bill is nearly impossible! I was without a phone for 3 days. I called 4 times and was on hold longer than my cell phone battery would last. I finally spoke with a HUMAN after calling the SALES center. They sent a tech, the next day for repairs.
The tech was here for over an hour running inside and out before he finally got the phone working. Little did I know, he cut every damn phone line in the house except ONE! I used to have FIVE working phone lines in my 3-story house, now I have ONE!!!
Needless to say I immediatly called back the so called customer service line, and the man I spoke too was very, very rude. He talked to me like I was an idiot, and said the only phone that should work is the one plugged into the modem. I explained that 5 worked before the repair tech arrived and now only one works. He never apoligized, he just said only one should be working!
I say what the hell am I supposed to do? I now will have to pay a real phone tech to repair 4 lines at $75 per line. They need to fix it!!
