I have depression very bad, and have been going to doctors for many years. Never once did I have a problem getting a prescription from a doctor, nor did I ever have a problem getting them filled.
There was never a reason I would ever alter a prescription. First of all I would never do this to begin with. I went to have my prscrption filled, told the girl I would pick it up the next day. I recevied a phone call from Walgreens yelling at me that I alter my prscription and it was being turned over to an investigator, and that they sent it back to my doctor and she said it was altered. I did not touch anything on my prescription, as I know this is a crime.
What was changed supposely was the date. I was told the date from changed. It wasn't the year or the month, but the day, by one day, say it was 10/2 they said it was changed to 10/3. Why would I change a date from one day, doesn't make sense to me.
Now my doctor will not take me. When I found another doctor she received a call supposely by an investigator saying not to take me. I have gone to other pharmacies and they would not fill my prescription. Plus my son is ADHD and he can't get his prescrptions filled. No one will give me the name of the investigator on this. I received several calls from the office of the doctor who said the prescription was alter threating me several times, and also the pharmacy. I did finally get a new doctor and a pharmacy that is filling my son and my prescriptions. I'm very careful of checking my precriptions from the doctors making sure nothing looks alter.
It's much easier to tell my story than to write it. It was a horrible and frightening experience knowning that I might not be able to get a doctor or even my prescriptions filled again. Not only for me, but my 11 year old son, that needs his meds.
