I bought a Serta Visco Elastic Foam mattress. The mattress in CONN'S was very soft and when you laid on it, it conformed to your body. The mattress that was deliverd was very hard and does not give when you lay on it. It is very uncomfortable. We cannot sleep on it. I call CONNS and they offer no warranty. I called Serta and I was told it takes several weeks to break in before it is soft like the one in the showroom. We were not told this at all, or we would not have purchased something we had to break in. I consider this VERY DESCEPTIVE. I was told there have been some problems in the factory with the Visco Elastic mattesses. Serta will not help in anyway, they say Conn's has to handle it and Conn's says there are no warranty on the mattress. I asked the very next day after it was delivered if I could exhange it for another mattress and pay the difference. No luck. I have been given the run around for 5 weeks with promises of return phone calls that never come. Any advise would be greatly appreciated..
ps... The poor salesperson has tried very hard to help, but even she has had no results. They told her we lived outside the service area. I think is is really STRANGE that I lived in the service area when I bought the mattress on AUg 5th, it was delivered on Aug 11th, and I called on Aug 12th to ask if we could exchange the mattress...
