I called SFT casting. They ran an add in our local newspaper here in Key West claiming to offer "Movie Extras" jobs. I could tell right away it was a scam, mainly because any company that offers job placement services through the classified adds is a rip off.
Get rich quick, real estate schemes, work from home, work from your computer, junk like that, are all rip offs.
Out of curiosity I called their 800 number being careful to *67 them before hand so they could not get my phone number. The guy on the phone (the sales rep) said there were in fact movie extras jobs in Key West which I immediately knew was a lie.
There are no movies being made in Key West. He told me they would mail me a list of casting calls for $1.98, and information on how to use their web site, at which point I hung up on them.
For god's sake dont give these people ANY personal information, let alone your credit card number, bank information, or any form of money. SFT casting is full of s*t.
