On May 10 Sprint PCS advertised the federally funded lifeline promotion for persons on government assistance to become wireless telephone customers with their company @ discounted prices. I requested applications on 8 different occassions as did others whom I showed the promo which was supposedly run nationwide in newspapers across the US. The others gave up, I refuse to do so. I feel if the government has granted the permission to sprint to receive funding reimbursing them for the less fortunate then they should follow through.
It took from May 10- July 3 for me after all of the requests I made to get the application. I have sent in the necessary documentation and was asked for more information which I have faxed to the representative Ms. Delia James and still no response. I have submitted 2 bbb reports about the situation with no results.
Yesterday I got a phone call from Ms. James was undoubtedly upset and left an ugly message on my home voice mail which I erased. I have explained to her that I believe that Sprint is ripping off the government and is not at all willing to fulfil the terms of the promo and that I would file as many reports to expose the company of its' wrong doing.
