Air Conditioner Declared Beyond Repair but No Replacement After Three Weeks

I've been trying to get First American Home Buyers (AHB) to repair my air conditioner for over three weeks. The contractor they sent to my house gave me a copy of his report stating the unit was 27 to 30 years old and it was beyond repair... Sounds straight forward enough. That was three weeks ago and it's 11:10PM and 91 degrees inside my house. I live in the Central Valley of Ca. The forecast temps for the next week are 105 to 112. I think my next move will be the consumer fraud show on the CBS station in Fresno and a stop at Century 21 since they made a commission on the policy.
