I had a month to month lawn service contract that required a 30 day notice to end service. I called them to give them their notice at the end of Oct. to end service at end of Nov. They stopped cutting my lawn immediately, but billed me a month anyway.
Then they kept on doing lawn service the next month, so I had to give another 30 day notice and then they billed me again for a month that they did absolutly no work in. They have been sending bills every since with late fees included and now they have sent it to a collection agency that calls about 3 times a day. I feel, as a consumer that has always paid my bills and on time that
I am being ripped off by a company that wants to be paid for nothing. They say I did not call to give them a 30 day notice, when in fact I had to twice. Right now I am weighing my options as to handle this.
