The Keane Organization represented that they had found property which was "lost", and unknown to the consumer. They further claimed that the holder of this money could not contact the owner, because there was no current address on file. This information was untrue. They refused to give any hint of what type of property they had allegedly "found", even when the consumer asked descriptive questions about what type of property they allegedly located. They charged a large finder's fee of 20% or more for property the consumer was already aware of. Thus far, they have not been cooperative in resolving this dispute.
