This company surprised me with a letter owing money. I contacted my property manager who said I owed no more money. The owner of the property was upset because she disagreed with the property manager, so she forged her name on the contract, erasing the property management company and took it to a slum Harris Realty company who turned it over to fidelity. Even with providing the contract and contact name of the company I had a contract with, fidelity continues to harass us about owing money. The owner of the property filed suit against the property manager and lost because the property manager acted correctly with me. Talk about ethics. I've seen rebuttals on this company that they are valid and ethical. However, I have a good job, not one other item 30 on my credit report says anything but paid, never late, and this company still tries to invalidly collect money from me, simply to earn a fee. The only way to have this removed from my report is to sue, which will cost thousands of dollars, more than the dollor amount. Obviously if they thought they could legally collect, they would have garnished my check. I hope I get some extra money because I will sue them and the dishonest owner of the property.
