Auido Installers came out to our house to install a dish and reciever that we bought not leased. They tarred the base of the dish to our roof and left it at a 65% signal. I called dish the next day and told them our signal kept going out error mess 002. They steped me through the troubleshooting and i was told reailers are not supost to leave a dish with such a low signal. So I called audio Installers back out to fix it.
They were very rude and reluctant to come out but they did. When doing so they walked around on my roof saing we couldnt pull a stronger signal than that, we needed to run a pole in our back yard wich would cost $80.00. We have had dish in our home just 3 months before and we didnt need any pole. They ended up leaving while i went in the house to tell my husband what they had said. I called them to ask them where they were going, he said we can schduele you in to run that pole if you want but we cant do that now and hung up on me. A few days later i tried to contact him, he dodged my calls for weeks.
Our picture was very poor and every retailer wanted to charge and arm and a leg to fix it. Well our sigal finaly gave out and were with out tv. So i called dish to set up a tech to come out, We set the date. No one ever came that day, I called to see why they said the reailer denied the order! They would put it in again under their code what ever that means. I asked who was the retailer, and guess what? IT WAS AUDIO INSTALLERS. They know our adress the tech that came out is one of our neighbors. They plain out dont want to fix what they did wrong and to make the most money in the least amount of time.
It is'nt the service it's the installation!
They just had another dish retailer come and fix the problem. AND GUESS WHAT? I DIDNT NEED A $80.00 POLE IN MY BACKYARD! It took the man 10 Min to move our dish (that he had to replace) from our roof to the side of our house and again it comes in crystal clear it stormed yesterday and we watched a whole movie with no interuptions.
That is when i also found out that our base of our satalite was tarred to our roof witch is now going to cost us money to fix the roof that's going to tear up.
The moral of the story is sick with the main company itself, not rink-A-dink shops that conduct a completly differnt buisness than satalite itself!!!
