I placed an order with jdvjewelry.com and ihelppets.com for several pieces of jewelry. It turns out they were managed by the same owner, so the orders were combined and shipped together.
The package arrived without a packing list, so I was not able to determine if my credit card had been accurately charged. The seller would not provide a copy of the packing list, despite repeated requests. An item was also missing from the package, the seller agreed to credit, then backed out and I was not able to tell whether I was ever properly credited - BECAUSE - as stated, the seller repeatedly failed to provide an accounting of the charges and credits, despite my requests. I then indicated I would be returning several items and ended up returning almost everything in the shipment since I noted that the dimensions were NOT as stated on the website, in fact, the actual jewelry pieces were much smaller than advertised on the websites.
When I filed a claim through my Discover card, the seller indicated to Discover that I did not have authorization to make the returns. Return authorizations are not indicated in the shipping policy, IN FACT, the shipping policy on ihelppets.com states that the company guarantees the satisfaction of its customers and all returns will be credited as long as they are made within 30 days - I made my returns within 30 days. The bottom line here is that the seller misrepresented the terms of sale to Discover.
I am still owed $78.50 credit for items returned. I am not able to get a response from the seller on this.
