Novia Pointe ripoff. Some new information on this company

Last week I received a request from my bank to sign a notice that I had not ordered from this company or ever received anything from this company. I acknowledged receiving something that I returned and provided proof of sending it back certified so I could track they got it back. My bank took copies of everything I showed them. It turns out that Burnfat2 rebuttaled my dispute with my bank that I had not ordered this product saying I had their product.

I talked to someone at the bank earlier today and I was told that if Burnfat2 did not agree to credit my account within 45 days of my dispute last 3/24/06 that the provisional credit on my account would be reversed. I said I guess I better call them. I also received in the mail in the yesterday proof they had signed and my returned shipment was in their possession. So I thought I would call and they would just credit my account.

I called today and was told in a recording how much they valued my business and I was caller 23, then 22, and then 21 and then suddenly my call disconnected. I called back and everytime my call was immediately disconnected. After calling 3 times I called one more time and this time got the message we are now closed. I have tried to call several times in the last 3 hours always with the message we are now closed. The lab for this company is in South Jordan, UT. Kind of ironic I live in Utah. But the call center is in Ontario, California. These people were not closed at 1 pm MST, something is going on. I called back my bank to alert them that I think this company is either shutting down or doing something weird because now you cannot even call them and found out my bank actually finally did do a charge back to this company as fraud yesterday so the money was charged back to their bank. So hopefully my credit becomes permanent. I am just concerned about everyone being sucked into this advertisement scam. If we now have no way to contact them how do we cancel and request our money back? Thank goodness many banks and credit card companies are realizing this and working with us. And if your credit card or bank says they cannot do anything you need to change credit cards or banks because the laws are out there to deal with these people. You do have dispute rights. Don't give up. You can always put your dispute in writing to your credit card company and bank and they have to follow regulations by law to put that item in dispute. So if they won't help you over the phone dispute in writing within 60 days. That preserves your dispute rights. And I wish everyone the best of luck.
