Ripoff, never received, cannot contact and does not respond to emails

I am basically having the same problem as everyone else who is posting - I ordered $150 worth of merchandise over three weeks ago and have never received it. I tried entering the "order number" listed on my invoice into the USPS website's search box, but nothing came up. I asked Northwest (via email - never got a reply) to please provide me with either an explanation or actual proof that it had been shipped (a REAL USPS tracking number, for instance) but neither one has been. Does anyone out there know what my options are at this point? Can I call my bank and tell them this was never received, and will they handle it from there?

Thanks so much for any help, i'd like to get the charges removed right away.
