I, too, signed up for my one free annual credit report. There was nothing on their website about any charges, and I never provided them a credit card number, as they were advertising that it was free.
Just a couple days ago I saw a $12 charge show up on my credit card statement, and immediately filed a dispute form as well as emailing the company. We will see if this gets my money back right away.
