In Nov. 14 i received a letter from them they were representing one of my credit card company for collection. They sent me a validation notice that gave me 30 days to dispute validity of debt.
I called and sent a letter staing my attorney had already sent up a payment program with the credit card company and didn't know why this was in collection. I also told them that i decided to put the creditor and all my creditor with a debt management co./credit counseling service. That they could call my debt management counselor and set up an agreeable monthly payment plan. I heard nothing.
On Feb. O6 i get a summons on them of an impending judgement in 30 days. I called my debt management co. Who called them offering an additional amount per month of money to pay them. They already had been sending them 2 months of payments for the credit card account. They said, "oh, you can keep sending that amount-but we want much more, twice the amount! -and we still are doing the judgement."
I decided to dispute the validation of the debt. I feel they have no intention of working with me and already have added interest and more legal fees to amount i owe. I feel they are misrepresenting themselves and the credit card company is not aware of the tactics they are using.
I think the credit card company would've been happy with payment plan my debt managment company offered. If this goes to court-i'm showing all i've done to resolve this debt and their lack of cooperation.
