I won a book for my son dealing with Japanese Jo Staff - 12. Paid after auction with Paypal - $3.95 shipping. Item arrived damaged on front and back, under wrapping, after 2 weeks of waiting, brown paper wrapping torn in back, and corners, too. Looked like a used book in poor condition! Emailed 3x in 2 weeks about this; no reply, then got phone # and called CA from East Coast - twice! No call back about problem.
Decided after all this time to leave negative feedback, which was well deserved. Within 1/2 hr. Of doing this, they retaliated with same! They say on site and receipt, "We cannot make any adjustment if negative feedback is left!" If they don't reply after you get damaged goods, then what are you supposed to do? EBay doesn't do a thing to stop retaliatory negative feedback. Paypal won't do anything as long as it arrived, even if damaged.
