I had a membership with Columbia in 2005 and completed it in November and closed my account. Everything was paid in full.
I had no correspondence with them for selections etc. And the next thing I know my checking account is debited for $24.94.
I go on line to their web site and see that a shipment is "pending" for a DVD that I did not order and would have never chosen, so I called immediately and was told it would not be cancelled and the only way I would get my money would be to return the DVD. I said the status stated that shipment indicated pending and I was told that was not correct and she kept repeating herself, "the only way, etc.
I was blamed the the whole problem when I had requested the account closed last year. There was no apology just the process of making me out to be the idiot and no provisional credit for something I have not received nor ordered!
