Took $3,000.00 to put a roof on home never did the work ripoff

I hired contractor Anthony Bonsante to put a roof on my home. He cashed my check did not do the work and will not give the money back. He is not liscensed or insured and has never done a roof as I found out after the fact in will now cost me $150.00 an hour for a lawyewr to take my case. It is to much money for small claims court.
