If you are considering a mover from state to state please read this. We were looking for a mover on the internet. We were contacted by Nationwide Relocation and this is what took place. They told us that they would take care of our move and to trust them. We sent them a $1500.00 deposit. We assumed that they were the moving company and they would send one of thier trucks. We were supposed to move on 9-30 in the morning. The truck came on 10-02 at 10pm. The truck came from some little Mom and Pop moving company called Damrons in Ohio. It was a rented Penske truck that was too small for our items. The truck was in poor mechanical condition and the movers were very inexperienced. The movers left without taking all of our things. We had to pay to store them. They did damage to our former home. I called Nationwide for help and all they did was transfer me from one incompitent person to another. Nationwide Relocation has poor customer service skills.

The truck was to arrive at its destination on 10-03 in the morning. It finally came on 10-05 at 8pm. Loading and unloading took place in the dark. The truck that arrive at our new home was a little white Budget truck. All of our things were transferred to a smaller truck. First, they could'nt open the door because it was jammed on our things. Then, they would not unload the truck unless the balance was paid in full in cash. We paid because we just wanted our things. The movers unloaded the truck and many of our things were either broken or missing. The one mover was swearing because he claims that he lost money on this job. Again, The company was Damrons moving that was hired by Nationwide Relocation. We had to ultimately call the local police because the movers did not give us all of our things until the next day. This was by far the worst experience I ever had with a business. To date, I have not recieved any compensation for the damages to my belongings. Nationwide did not agree with the way I filled out my damage report.

I strongly recommend that no one uses Nationwide Relocation. They are very suspicious in thier business practices. If anyone would like to know more about my experience, you may contact me.
