Started noticing an extra page on my phone bill-USBI-no charges for calls made-they just want money for no service rendered-called the listed #-put on hold til automated voice informed me business hours-found website for USBI, asked who they were and what was billing for. Email reply 4 days later informed they were an aggregate info collection service for service providers-
HUH? Started surfing, found usacomplaints. Coms Over 400 on USBI. Read so many reports, same thing, got mad, read the consumer suggestion about calling USBI, blocking my # and informing SBC of same.
I am now EXTREMELY upset and will stay on this til I no longer see this rip-off page on my bill.$15.32 monthly for the last 6 months won't break my back but no one should pay for service they don't get. Maybe I hit a website that pirates my data but I never authorize other carriers or give personal data online. Besides with customized Norton and the best hybrid protecion I can buy if these guys are getting through and leaving no tracks they could be stealing a lot easier money than cramming phone bills... Stay tuned for updates... Would welcome class-action...
