Service plan Ripoff

Bought a Panisonic LV-50 DVD Player in June. I bought the extended service agreement.in Oct the hinge of the unit broke After over a month I get a call from the repair company they imform me that the lid was not covered by the warrenty and that it would cost $50.00 to fix. I said great fix it. After over a month I get a call from the local store stateing that it was ready to picked up. I stop by and they bring it out and the hinge is still broken... I ask why they didn't fix it and the store manager after 45 min's on the computer tell's me their tech say's it has "Corroson Damage" so they returned it to me unrepaired. This is a comman scam they sell you the extended warrenty then if you ever try and use it you get one of these comman excuses why it is not covered

Don't waste any money on the warrenties they are a scam and Curcit City will not honor them...
