18004APhone AKA Accutel of Texas is the biggest Scam in all the 50 states. On Dec. 3rd I paid $69.99 to be connected. I was told it would take 1-3 days. I waited 3 days and called them inquiring about the service.By this time it was the 6th of December. The customer support rep said to give them a few more days, I agreed and asked them for my new phone number. Got the new number and hung up knowing that now that I have a phone number surely I am going to get a phone.
Wrong, still no phone.By now its the 8th or 9th, called them again only to be told that my phone was on as of the 6th and I was being billed as of the 7th. News to me since there is no service box on my house and NO lines connect from the house to the pole.
The next lie they told me repeatedly was that I was talking to a supervisor, when in reality it was just a customer service rep. Dont be fooled. They are real slick and cunning, and once they get your money you will not get it back. They have a no return policy.
Now we are into the next week. On the 12th of Dec. I called them again only to be told that my request for a refund had been refused.
I informed them that this was not the end of this, Its the principal of the matter. My local phone company is going to come and connect the line to the pole and give me a service box and I am thinking seriously about getting a lawyer, because they said I was connected on the 6th of Dec. With no lines and no service box. I Hope They Will Be Up For Grabs and Shut Down. Do not give them your money. Let the buyer BEWARE!!!
