Credit Card Rip Off Artist, You can get your MONEY BACK, Beat Them at their own Game

This company got my phone number and solicited me. I did not reply to an advertisement, or call them. I used my speakerphone option and my wife was able to hear the entire call.

This company called me and offered me the option to "build my credit". They assured me that my credit report showed I was a reliable person, and this would help to build my credit. As stated in the previous complains on the BBB and "complaint" website's, we allowed them to charge our bank account $299., with the promise we would get an approved credit card.

This card would be able to be used anywhere with a $5000. Limit. The interest would never be over 6%, unlike some cards that charge 19-25%. I asked if it was a pre-paid card (like a stored value card) and Ms. Kim Marquess stated it was a Master Card Credit Card. I asked if it could be only used at a certain store (like a store card) and was again assured it was a Master Card Credit Card, that could be used anywhere Master Card was accepted.

I have a stored value card in my wallet I got for $4.95 at the local Pantry Food store. I am able to upload money to it whenever I want to.

I also have a Master Card that is tied to my checking account. I did not ask, nor pay for a "credit card, that I can pay to put my own money on". This is absurd.

I have no intention on sending in the $39.00 additional fee. I have a paper in my possession that plainly states, "There are no additional fees to pay".

I wondered if I would ever see the $299.00 back, or just count it a loss and move on. This is the FIRST time this has ever happened to me. However, the person who called gave me assurance, after assurance that it was reliable, dependable... All the time Ms. Kim Marquess was lying to me about the card.

I have called today two times and got a recording that is never answerd, stayed on hold over one hour, and still no answer.

I found out, on the "complaint" Web Site, that you have sixty (60) days to stop payment. Your bank request's a refund of the money, and if the company does not protest within five (5) day, it will be put back in your account. "YOU ONLY HAVE SIXTY DAY'S" I called on the sixtieth (60) day, and the money is going back in my account today! The company did not fight the refund.

I also turned them into BBB and filed this complaint.

Thanks "complaint" for this site. It helped inform me, and I got my $299. Back. ;-)
